A Message from the Pastor

I greet you with a joy that I believe simply comes from knowing Jesus and would like to welcome you to our church's new website.  Here at New Bethel, our mission is .

In order to achieve this mission, our church family utilizes scriptural a giving model that encourages members of our congregation and community to participate in a sacrificial worship practice known as paying God our tithes and giving God our offerings. The word "tithe" literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income, isn't merely giving something to God, it's giving back what was his to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from him. The Bible says that tithing is reminds us that God is the supplier of all our needs. Tithing teaches us that we must always put God first in our lives.

"Offering" is anything you give beyond the 10%. In Malachi 3:10, God says Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."

As you prayerfully consider becoming a covenant partner with New Bethel through either paying God your tithes and giving God an offering, I would like to first invite you to "Seek God first and God's righteous" (Matthew 6:33).  Second, thank you for visiting our website and even considering covenanting with our ministry church in this capacity; and third, encourage you to trust God as sow financial into our ministries here at New Bethel. As you discern how you might want to covenant with God through our ministries here at New Bethel, if our staff or I can assist you in any please let us know.  To God be the glory!

Yours In Christian Service,

Rev. Dr. Elaine Eskew
